HV Systems Quarterly Newsletter Update

Hello and welcome to our new quarterly newsletter

We have been working hard to get our H2Van on the road and have other exciting updates and plans for the near future. Our team has grown and we are proud to have a team that is passionate about our planet and the positive change’s we can make by making HV Systems a success.

Green Apple Awards

In the past six months we have won two Green Apple Awards for Environmental Best Practice coming third in the UK and first in Scotland. Members from our team picked up the awards during ceremonies at Westminster Parliament in November and Cornhill Castle in March. It was an honour to be nominated for the awards, and the win was even more special as we were recognisedour goal of a “Cleaner Air Environment” for generations to come.

Hannover Messe

We had the pleasure of attending the Hannover Messe exhibition. Whilst there we met up with our fellow hydrogen economy member McPhy and discussed potential collaborative projects.

McPhy have recently launched their Augmented McPhilling, a new smart hydrogen station designed for heavy duty vehicles. The architecture allows for multiple usage scenarios and offers real time adaptation to customer needs without capacity limits. This station is perfectly suited to meet the hydrogen demand required to de-carbonise heavy transport and long-distance vehicles (trains, trucks and buses).

H2Van Progress

We are continuing to build our prototype in our Glasgow workshop.
Our engineers are working with lightweight materials and are bringing the aerodynamic shape of H2Van to reality.

We were recently visited by BBC Scotland’s John Beattie who was impressed by our prototype and heard about our business goals on his radio show.

All Energy

We will be exhibiting at All Energy on the 15th and 16th of May 2019, the UK’s leading renewable energy exhibition and conference. Our CEO Emil Rangelov will also be speaking at All Energy on the 16th of May, with his speech titled “The future of freight – There is no Planet B”. We hope to make progressive connections and partnerships. As the renewable energy sector grows, it has become even more exciting and more innovation is being embraced
